中国生物材料学会生物医用高分子分会委员,《中国科学:技术科学》杂志(EI收录)、Science China Technological Sciences(SCI收录)编委。主要从事水凝胶、药物/基因递送载体等生物医用高分子材料的研究,曾获得天津市自然科学一二等奖,2006年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划,2012年天津市教工先锋岗先进个人,2013年获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助,2015年获得天津市五一劳动奖章,2016年天津市教育系统优秀共产党员,2016年入选国务院特殊津贴专家,2017年被评为5822yh银河国际网页版第十届“我心目中的好导师”。
