School of Materials Science and Engineering of Tianjin University have always attached great importance to development of internationalization, and actively develop international communication and cooperation, so far we have establish a long-term and stable relationship of cooperation with Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and other famous universities and research institutions overseas. We invited foreign experts to teaching course in English, academic lectures, project research, etc. for every year. We accept the foreign students study or joint training in our school of China. At same time, we send outstanding undergraduate,high level graduate students, the key members of the outstanding young teacher to exchange study, study for degree, further training or joint research in foreign famous universities and research institutions regularly for every year.

In recent years, around the national development strategic target, we vigorously introduce overseas high-level talents, to build a high level scientific research team. We have established a joint research center respectively with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and the University of Virginia tech, also organized international conference on materials, promote the development of international first-class materials discipline.

Following internationalization development policies of the Tianjin University, the development of international communication and cooperation with overseas famous universities, companies and academic research institutions is our purpose. In the international education, scientific research and discipline construction, etc., we provide services and build the platform to international communication and cooperation for teachers and students.
